Country Club

Country Club
1

The Country Club neighborhood was created in 1902 when a group of investors, intent on creating a premier residential neighborhood in Denver, purchased 400 acres of land for the project.  Leading architects were commissioned to design homes in an array of styles which lead to the diverse collection of architectural influences seen in the Country Club neighborhood today.   The architectural history of the neighborhood has been well preserved in part due to the establishment of three historic districts (Driving Park, Country Club and East Seventh Avenue) that cover all of the homes in the neighborhood.

The neighborhood consists of only 380 homes making it one of Denver’s smallest and most exclusive neighborhoods.  The majority of the homes in Country Club are the original, grand and spacious structures that were built in the early 1900’s on large lots with deep setbacks.  Wide parkway style streets and Mediterranean gateways characterize this picturesque neighborhood.  Country Club is not only popular with families looking to buy a large, beautiful home that is full of history, but is also desired by those seeking a conveniently located house that is just a short drive from Downtown Denver and walk from the Cherry Creek North shopping district.
