Virginia Village

Virginia Village

Virginia Village is a quiet residential neighborhood situated east of Colorado Boulevard and north of I-25. The neighborhood is ideal for buyers seeking ranch style homes on large lots with easy access to commuting options and retail located along Colorado Boulevard.

The Cherry Creek waterway and its accompanying Cherry Creek Trail create the neighborhood’s northeast boundary and provide residents with a direct bike route to both the Cherry Creek Reservoir southeast of the neighborhood and all the way downtown to REI! There’s also nearby access to the Highland Canal trail just south of Evans on Holly that provides more biking and running trails into Cherry Hills and beyond. In addition, both Cook and Garland park provide convenient nearby open space for residents to enjoy.

There are two distinct areas of mid-century modern homes located within the Virginia Village neighborhood. Krisana Park (bordered by Louisiana, Dahlia, Fairfax and Florida) and Lynwood (bordered by Holly, Jasmine, Jewell and Mexico) were both developed in the 1950’s by Denver developer, H.B. Wolff & Company.  Inspired by Joseph Eichler’s California contemporary tract homes, H.B. Wolff & Company designed minimalistic, ranch-style homes with open floor plans, vaulted ceilings and attached garages.
