Looking for a great cocktail?  Check out Pinche Tacos at Colfax and York between the neighborhoods of City Park and Congress Park.  Make sure to try the Oaxaca Shocka (if you can handle the spice) and the Donkey Show!  The tacos are amazing too, so bring your appetite!

Trick-or-Treat Denver!!

Ok…Halloween is almost here, so it’s time to start planning your trick-or-treating route!

This year, Zillow.com named Denver the 16th best trick-or-treating city in the country based on a methodology which factored in home value (assuming, I guess, the wealthier the neighborhood the better the candy), population density, walkability and crime statistics to create their Top 20 Trick-or-Treating City Index.  We were 5th last year, so we dropped a bit… disappointing, but it still looks like were still in a good spot for a fruitful evening this year…that’s good news!

Now, of course, the question is where in Denver should you focus all of your door knocking energy?  Zillow also ranked the neighborhoods in Denver using the same methodology and listed the following 5 as your target hoods for Halloween:

  1. Cherry Creek
  2. Hilltop
  3. Congress Park
  4. Washington Park
  5. Country Club

I wouldn’t argue that any of the neighborhoods ranked by Zillow are not good targets, but where is Stapleton?…right?!?  Although, we don’t have a fancy index formula like Zillow.com, Red Door Properties knows Denver and would like to add Stapleton to this exclusive list of Denver trick-or-treat target neighborhoods.

All that said…where ever you decide to take your little ghosts and goblins this year…Red Door Properties wishes you a safe and Happy Halloween!!!!
